Hello, my name is Selena Thompson. I am very excited to be your child's Social Studies teacher! I graduated from Woodland High School in 2004 and Reinhardt University in 2008. After I graduated college, I worked in staffing, human resources, and banking. Although my career took a different path than what I expected, my heart has always longed to be in the classroom. This is my 5th year here at JMS and before I became a teacher, I worked as special education paraprofessional and the media clerk in the Media Center. 

I have been married to Cody Thompson for 15 years and we have two kids, Aubrey and Levi. Aubrey is 13 and Levi is 8. We stay busy with volleyball and baseball but I love every minute of it! I love to travel, read, and going thrifting in my free time!
